According to the dictionary, honey is a sweet yellowish or brownish fluid produced by various bees from the nectar of flowers. Besides using honey as food, did you know that honey is one of the oldest and most effective beauty aids?

Honey contains waxes, sugars, and traces of minerals. It is a natural moisturizer, as well as an anti-irritant making it suitable for sensitive skin types. Honey can be found in many of the beauty products you find in your local drug store or favorite beauty supply store. Some of these products can be very expensive to purchase and many of these products can be made at home.

Try some of the following honey beauty tips below. Please be sure not to use honey on your skin if you are allergic to it!

1. Honey mask: Apply pure honey to your face and allow it to set until dry. This will take about 15 minutes. Once dry, rinse your face with warm water.

2. Body glow bath: To moisturize, smooth, and get an all over body glow, keep a jar of honey next to your bath. Apply honey on your skin and pat dry using both hands. While patting your skin, the honey will get sticky and gently pull up your skin. Rinse away the honey when you are done. The results will be great circulation and beautiful, glowing skin!

3. Honey bath: For sweet smelling and soft skin, add ¼ to ½ cup of honey to your bath water.

4. Honey scrub: Mix 1 teaspoon of honey with a little almond flour into the palm of your hand. Gently apply on your face for a facial scrub. Rinse your face with warm water to remove honey scrub.

5. Daily facial cleanser: Mix 1 teaspoon of honey with a little milk powder into the palm of your hand. Apply on your face to clean away dirt and makeup and then rinse with warm water.

6. Shiny Hair: To add some shine to your hair, mix 1 teaspoon of honey, a squeeze of fresh lemon, and 1 quart of warm water. Shampoo your hair as usual and then pour the honey mixture on your hair. Allow your hair to dry as normal. You do not have to rinse out the honey mixture.

7. Hair conditioner: For healthy hair and scalp, combine ½ cup of honey and 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Saturate your hair with the honey mixture, put on a shower cap and allow it to remain on hair for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, shampoo and rinse your hair as you normally do.

8. Skin toner: To firm, smooth, and moisturize your skin, combine 1 peeled, cored apple with 1 tablespoon of honey in a blender. Pulse honey mixture until smooth. Gently apply honey mixture on face and allow it to remain for 15 minutes. Rinse your face with warm water to remove the honey mixture.

With the above beauty tips, you can create affordable spa-like products at home. Honey is a wonderful beauty product because it contains naturally occurring enzymes, vitamins, and minerals. Be sure your honey is all natural by purchasing only 100% pure honey to create your beauty products.

There are plenty of ingredients that you have at home and you can use to create your own beauty products.

Here is a collection of tips and tricks to make you naturally beautiful:

- Make a homemade beauty facial scrub from grapes. Mash a handful of grapes. Strain them to separate the pulp from the juice. Remove the skins and mash the pulp and juice with 1 tablespoon of almond flour.

- Make a homemade hair rinse. Use Aloe vera gel to thicken your hair. Massage it into your scalp then leave it for 15 minutes before rinsing.

- Make a homemade beauty facial mask with sugar and oil. Mix 1 tablespoon of sugar with a few drops of olive oil for a sweet facial exfoliant. This can be mixed in larger quantities for full body exfoliation.

- Make a homemade beauty facial mask with honey and bananas. Make sure the bananas are not overripe. Mash 2 teaspoons of ashed banana, 2 teaspoons of rolled oats, 1 teaspoon of milk and 1 teaspoon honey. After 10 minutes, massage it into your face. Allow it to sit for 5 more minutes and then rinse with warm water.

How do scrubs work? The scrub, when on, is a king of peel. The dead skin cells adhere to the slightly dried paste and are removed by the friction created when you gently massage it over your face. The result is a healthier looking and refreshed skin.

If your skin is dry and easily irritated, don’t wash more than once a day. You may risk stripping the skin of its natural oils. Dr. Franks recommends looking for non-irritating cleansing washes that are soap-free, moisturizers that are light, oil-free, and water-based to help maintain the skin’s natural barrier.

For a skin softening bath, add 1/4 cup honey to the water, and 1 teaspoon of lemon.

And more:

- Make a homemade beauty facial mask with apples or pears. Add the piece of fruit to one tablespoon of honey.

- Make a homemade moisturizing exfoliant. (do not use in your face) In an air-tight jar, mix together the sugar, the salts and the coffee granules (the concentration of the ingredientes is not important at this point, just experiment with different quantities) Add in the oil. Rub all over your skin in the shower, and then rinse off thoroughly. The mixture will naturally become quite oily. Next, pat the skin dry with a towel.Your skin will be soft and smooth.

- Make a homemade moisturizing whitening bath for your nails. Get a bowl with plenty of lemon juice as to cover your nais. Clean your nails, removing any polish you may have on. Dip your nails in the bowl, and keep them there for two minutes. Rinse your nails and apply hand lotion for best results.

Ingrown hairs are known as Psuedofolliculitis Barbae (PFB), razor bumps, razor burn, hair bumps, shaving bumps, ingrowns.

Psuedofolliculitis Barbae refers to hair which has been cut or broken off below the skin level which then begins to grow through surrounding tissue rather than out of the follicle.

In other cases, it curls round and starts growing back into the skin causing irritation and inflammation.

If you shave the pubic area, you remove the tapered end, and as the it grows back without that tapered end, the sharpness will literally cut the skin surrounding the hair follicle.

Use these simple precautions to minimize the discomfort from ingrown pubic hairs:

#1

For ingrown pubic hairs along the bikini line, hold a hot compress against ingrown spots for ten minutes three times a day to soften the skin and help the hairs work their way out.

#2

Wear loose-fitting underwear and clothing until the bumps are gone to avoid friction.

#3

Some find it helpful to exfoliate the area before waxing. This removes some of the dead skin cells in the top layer of skin cells that often contribute to trapping the hairs.

Exfoliating options include creams, lotions, or body gels, a slightly abrasive washcloth or glove specifically designed for exfoliation. Check at the beauty counter at your local department store.

#4

Do not exfoliate the skin if you already have ingrown pubic hairs as further skin irritation may result.

#5

When waxing, be sure to pull the hair out by the roots. Do not allow the hair to break below the skin surface.

#6

Use a specially formulated treatment (see below). It prevents pubic ingrown hair and eliminates existing ingrown hair within days.

Additional note: For ingrown hairs which are deep, sterilize a pair of needle-nosed tweezers with rubbing alcohol and individually lift each ingrown hair out of its follicle. Wipe the area with alcohol afterwards and shave.

If needle-nosed tweezers are not available, wipe a pin or needle and the ingrown area with rubbing alcohol, then carefully release the hair in the direction that it grows using the tip of the needle only. After the hair is released, wipe the skin with alcohol again.

Celebrities are glamorous as they glide across the red carpet of every showbiz occasions. They always look the way they are ten years ago. They always find ways and means to be as attractive as they wanted to be, because their profession requires them to be. Celebrities are one of the few people who knew secrets of how to be glamorous.

According to celebrities it is not that hard to achieve beautiful, elegant and glamorous look. It is done with patience, a big motivation and discipline.

Celebrities have their own method of staying as good looking as they can. Some undergo the procedure of surgery. However this procedure is very expensive and painful. While others just do the skin care diet and skin care procedures that are considerably safe and effective.

Here are some that are considered safe and effective:

Drink lots of water – Water is very important to our body. This will keep our skin hydrated in order for it to be moisturized.

Use natural skin care products – Avoid using skin care products that has ingredients made from chemical elements. These harmful elements might be the one to add more problems on your skin.

Cleanse your skin when needed – Every time we do chores or just have been out of the house always clean your skin just by rubbing it gently with a wet soft towel. Through this, free radicals that are trying to destroy the skin are eliminated. Remember to use lukewarm water, because extremely cold and hot water will damage the skin.

Apply sunscreen – The ultra violet rays of the sun are one of the biggest factors that can contribute in skin damage. Try to apply sunscreen when going out of the house. This will protect your skin from the scorching heat of the sun.

Celebrity beauty tips are not that hard to do. It just needs discipline, motivation and patience to achieve and do all these. If one has all these three, it is not a dream to become as beautiful and glamorous like all the celebrities walking down the red carpet.

I found myself recently in the market for a one-stop shop for some skin health and beauty products. Beauty Bridge literally had everything I could ever be looking for, from fragrance, skin care, makeup, bath, body, hair, nail products, along with designer fragrances and scented candles. It’s a pretty safe bet that a great many of us are going to be able to buy a wealth of of your fragrance and beauty products all in one place on the net.

Of course the free ground shipping for US customers was quite appealing to me. But aside from that little perk, was the extremely easy site navigation. You can easily find everything you need right on the front page of the website, through clearly marked icons that quite honestly, leave nothing to the imagination.

Products
You can easily click your way to amazing deals, which I took the liberty of price checking for reference. I found one single fragrance product by Clinique that was available for less, over at the StrawberryNET website. Other than that you can find leading brands such as Chanel, Clarins, Christian Dior, Elizabeth Arden, Estee Lauder, Guerlain, Lancome, etc.

They also offer acne treatments from Exuviance, Jane Iredale, Dermalogica, and others.

If you’re looking for body firming and toning lotions like Mama Mio, L’Occitane, Murad, Miss Oops, Kneipp, Nuxe, BaBor, or others — look no further than Beauty Bridge.

I purchased 2 bottles of D20 Hydration Spritz by Jane Ireland, along with some Halle by Halle Berry. Since my order was eligible for free expedited shipping, I was sure to receive my order promptly.

Customer Service
I have to give Beauty Bridge all the credit here. Their customer service is among some of the best I’ve had in a very long time — almost as good as my home bank. A live telephone agent (no robots) promptly took me through my order, asked me if there were any questions I needed to ask her before we proceeded to enter my card number, and called me by name the entire time. I could tell this wasn’t some outsourced agent Beauty Bridge had hired — this woman definitely knew what she was talking about.

Negatives
Beauty Bridge has way too many promotions to read through. I know some of you reading this review will think I’m pulling your chain, but when you click on the “Specials and Promotions” tab; you’re literally faced with somewhere in the ball-park of 30 promotions they have running currently. Some Beauty Bridge shoppers will, I’m sure appreciate the kind gesture on the websites part, but I like things a little more simple. I would rather have 5 really crazy savings, than 30 average ones.

Stop by the website and make a purchase or two. They have definitely earned me as a customer for life. The site navigation is stellar, and the prices will keep me coming back for a long while to come. Enjoy your purchase.
