Natural Face Masks – Beauty Tips

Posted by: admin  :  Category: Beauty tips

Natural Face masks are more than just goofy tricks that women try to get their “beauty rest.” They are an important part of skin care. It is proposed that you use a facial mask at least once a week. While it is not necessary to go overboard and wear one every night, a weekly session cannot only help your skin receive moisture, but it can also alleviate skin disorders. Facial masks can be soothing or energizing, and the actions and rituals often involved with applying them can be an effective tension reliever.

A facial mask is generally defined as a substance that is applied to the face, much like smearing on cream. It is thick, and frequently resembles clay. Many masks make use of clay or gel as a base, as these will stay in place when applied, and they are generally harmless to most skin types (although gel is used most for sensitive skin, as heavy clays irritate it). They are meant to cover the entire face and then stay in place for a few minutes before washing off. The materials in most masks are safe to be washed down the drain.

Most facial masks include both deep cleaning and moisturizing ingredients within them. This allows the pores in the face to be cleansed completely, getting rid of oily build up and trapped dirt. This can help reduce or even prevent blemishes. Additionally, many masks help slough off dead skin. The dead top skin is inert and lusterless. When it is tenderly removed, the top layer of dead skin cells comes off with it. This leaves younger, healthier cells exposed as the face’s surface. This means tighter skin and a more glowing complexion. It can also lessen the look of fine lines and small wrinkles to carry out a regular facial mask.

Another reason that natural face masks are so accepted involves the soothing and relaxing motions associated with applying them. If you decide to have one applied on for relaxation as well as the benefits it provides for the skin on the face, then you can have a very enjoyable experience. In spas, these masks are applied with special techniques and often include a massage. You can give your own face a soft massage just prior to applying the treatment, and if you are systematic about it, you can apply the mask in a way that is exceptionally soothing. All masks should be applied to a freshly washed face, rinsed with warm water. This opens the pores and maximizes the effectiveness of the treatment. Warm water is very calming and restful, and many people find this part of the application to be one of the more enjoyable stages.

Apply the mask in a circular motion until it covers the face. This is relaxing and stimulating at the same time. Let the it sit on your face for 15 to 20 minutes (although some are meant to be worn all night). Many women like to lie down and rest. The effect can be enhanced by the addition of candles or incense and some calming music. Finally, when it is time to rinse the mask, do so in cold water. This will help close the pores, protecting them against dirt and oil, and also stimulate your face.

Many people enjoy making their own facial masks from normal household products like bananas (for wrinkles), avocados, and honey (antibacterial). Butter can also be used as a remedy for dry skin. Other masks can be created using different compositions of clays, and different essential oils can be used for distinct skin types. Fruit purees also have different results (for instance, strawberry can act as an alphahydroxy), and yogurt and milk can soften the skin. Oatmeal is very soothing, and most sensitive skin types can use masks of this sort. Adding rose petal powder can enhance your fragrance without the need for perfume, while citrus fruit peel powder acts as an astringent.

When you decide to make use of natural face masks, you are certain to feel the good effects of it later down the road. And if you apply them once a week, you can help keep your face healthy-looking and your complexion brilliant with a healthy glow.

Home Made Beauty Tips

Posted by: admin  :  Category: Beauty tips

There are plenty of ingredients that you have at home and you can use to create your own beauty products.

Here is a collection of tips and tricks to make you naturally beautiful:

- Make a homemade beauty facial scrub from grapes. Mash a handful of grapes. Strain them to separate the pulp from the juice. Remove the skins and mash the pulp and juice with 1 tablespoon of almond flour.

- Make a homemade hair rinse. Use Aloe vera gel to thicken your hair. Massage it into your scalp then leave it for 15 minutes before rinsing.

- Make a homemade beauty facial mask with sugar and oil. Mix 1 tablespoon of sugar with a few drops of olive oil for a sweet facial exfoliant. This can be mixed in larger quantities for full body exfoliation.

- Make a homemade beauty facial mask with honey and bananas. Make sure the bananas are not overripe. Mash 2 teaspoons of ashed banana, 2 teaspoons of rolled oats, 1 teaspoon of milk and 1 teaspoon honey. After 10 minutes, massage it into your face. Allow it to sit for 5 more minutes and then rinse with warm water.

How do scrubs work? The scrub, when on, is a king of peel. The dead skin cells adhere to the slightly dried paste and are removed by the friction created when you gently massage it over your face. The result is a healthier looking and refreshed skin.

If your skin is dry and easily irritated, don’t wash more than once a day. You may risk stripping the skin of its natural oils. Dr. Franks recommends looking for non-irritating cleansing washes that are soap-free, moisturizers that are light, oil-free, and water-based to help maintain the skin’s natural barrier.

For a skin softening bath, add 1/4 cup honey to the water, and 1 teaspoon of lemon.

And more:

- Make a homemade beauty facial mask with apples or pears. Add the piece of fruit to one tablespoon of honey.

- Make a homemade moisturizing exfoliant. (do not use in your face) In an air-tight jar, mix together the sugar, the salts and the coffee granules (the concentration of the ingredientes is not important at this point, just experiment with different quantities) Add in the oil. Rub all over your skin in the shower, and then rinse off thoroughly. The mixture will naturally become quite oily. Next, pat the skin dry with a towel.Your skin will be soft and smooth.

- Make a homemade moisturizing whitening bath for your nails. Get a bowl with plenty of lemon juice as to cover your nais. Clean your nails, removing any polish you may have on. Dip your nails in the bowl, and keep them there for two minutes. Rinse your nails and apply hand lotion for best results.

Ingrown Pubic Hair – Six Tips

Posted by: admin  :  Category: Beauty tips

Ingrown hairs are known as Psuedofolliculitis Barbae (PFB), razor bumps, razor burn, hair bumps, shaving bumps, ingrowns.

Psuedofolliculitis Barbae refers to hair which has been cut or broken off below the skin level which then begins to grow through surrounding tissue rather than out of the follicle.

In other cases, it curls round and starts growing back into the skin causing irritation and inflammation.

If you shave the pubic area, you remove the tapered end, and as the it grows back without that tapered end, the sharpness will literally cut the skin surrounding the hair follicle.

Use these simple precautions to minimize the discomfort from ingrown pubic hairs:

#1

For ingrown pubic hairs along the bikini line, hold a hot compress against ingrown spots for ten minutes three times a day to soften the skin and help the hairs work their way out.

#2

Wear loose-fitting underwear and clothing until the bumps are gone to avoid friction.

#3

Some find it helpful to exfoliate the area before waxing. This removes some of the dead skin cells in the top layer of skin cells that often contribute to trapping the hairs.

Exfoliating options include creams, lotions, or body gels, a slightly abrasive washcloth or glove specifically designed for exfoliation. Check at the beauty counter at your local department store.

#4

Do not exfoliate the skin if you already have ingrown pubic hairs as further skin irritation may result.

#5

When waxing, be sure to pull the hair out by the roots. Do not allow the hair to break below the skin surface.

#6

Use a specially formulated treatment (see below). It prevents pubic ingrown hair and eliminates existing ingrown hair within days.

Additional note: For ingrown hairs which are deep, sterilize a pair of needle-nosed tweezers with rubbing alcohol and individually lift each ingrown hair out of its follicle. Wipe the area with alcohol afterwards and shave.

If needle-nosed tweezers are not available, wipe a pin or needle and the ingrown area with rubbing alcohol, then carefully release the hair in the direction that it grows using the tip of the needle only. After the hair is released, wipe the skin with alcohol again.
